Canning Basin Coal
TPL Corporation has submitted licence applications in the Canning Basin area of Western Australia that target the coal prospective Lightjack Formation.
Lightjack hosts the 511 million tonne Duchess-Paradise thermal coal resource that has recently been the subject of a prefeasibility study by Rey Resources.
The applications made by TPL cover over 1,000km of strike length of the Lightjack Formation, comprising 61 tenements targeting 209 outcrops - which will give Canning Basin Coal the largest footprint in this region.
